The Marine Corps Marathon

The Allied Forces Foundation, Inc. is heavily involved in supporting joint fit and wounded teams in the annual Marine Corps Marathon. Shown here in 2010 (from bottom left, clockwise) are teams from The Parachute Regiment, four Danish regiments and 3 Rifles. Look for our further involvement as we build our support.

The Allied Forces Foundation, Inc. was well represented in the 35th and 36th Marine Corps Marathons in 2010 and 2011, fielding a growing number of fit and wounded runners.

The directors of the Allied Forces Foundation, Inc. have determined that the slogan CARRY A COMRADE will be adopted as a marketing and fundraising brand to carry forward a number of initiatives for the Foundation from 2012 onwards.

Specifically, the AFF will be using this brand to increase awareness and support of its efforts in bringing combined fit and wounded teams together in significant marathon and other sporting events.

CARRY A COMRADE will also be developing its own Facebook page at www.facebook.com/carryacomrade

For more information about CARRY A COMRADE, the Allied Forces Foundation, Inc., and to learn of ways to support us or to volunteer or assist our aims in any way, please write to info@alliedforcesfoundation.org. Thank you.
